Hi. We're Andrew and Selena. And we created Journal Monkey.
Have you ever enjoyed your kid so much that you couldn’t wait to hear their next great idea? Or liked your dad so much you wanted to start a business with him? That’s our story. We’re a totally grown-up father/daughter team who come up with ideas together and then make them real.
These days we mostly focus on creating fun educational products for children, but think that adults need fun educational products, too. Our company is named “It’s Ingenious!” because we wanted our products to provide the sort of aha solutions for people that truly ingenious solutions would provide.
We think that journaling is one of a handful of very cool things - like art, travel, and close relationships - that has the potential to help people grow, and we like the idea of being able to help you with that.

We know that you journal for very special reasons - reasons that may be entirely unique to you. We want to provide ideas and resources that support you on that journey, wherever it is you want to go.

We want to provide tools and resources you've never seen before, that have you saying, "I love this!" and leave you wondering how you ever got along without them.
Fun
We want to appeal to your playful side - and sure, we know that journaling isn't all fun and games - but we want to be the first to remind you to look for the good, the true, and the beautiful while you're doing all that digging into your heart and brain. Because that's what you'll find after you dig deep enough. And we'd like to be a part of that.
